Join us for our Transfer Pricing and International Tax event, specifically focusing on the international issues affecting businesses with overseas operations and proposed changes to legislation in relation to thin capitalisation.
The event will begin with a presentation on the ATO’s Private Wealth International Program covering transfer pricing and international tax focus areas by the ATO’s Private Wealth - International Program Lead, Jamie de Clifford. We will then hear from BDO Transfer Pricing expert Natalya Marenina and BDO International Tax experts Anna Berryman and Courtney Whitecross, who will discuss the latest trends, developments and regulatory updates. Specifically we will discuss:
- Key issues identified by the ATO’s international program for the companies with overseas operations and key focus areas for the ATO going forward
- The proposed changes to thin capitalisation rules and other challenges with financial arrangements
- Discussion of various ATO focus areas in the transfer pricing space and how to manage the inherent risks
- What international tax and transfer pricing issues to consider when expanding overseas.
